Keywords
Unfortunately my expertise in search technology only extends to a ‘single’ word facility.
So ‘one’ word at a time.
However the 'text' of the "word" can form a sub-component of a larger word and is not case sensitive.
That is, a search for the term ‘RENT’; ‘Rent’; and ‘rent’; will ALL return the same result.
Also the term ‘rent’ will return a Notice containing a word of which ‘rent’ is subset i.e. ‘renting’; ‘renter’; ‘rented’ … and so on!
Further also searching for the 'term' is done in the
• wording of ‘Notice’ itself; PLUS
• ‘Category” AND
• ‘Locality’ -
assigned to the Notice.
For Example:
If someone posted a notice to say “I have 3 brown puppy dogs to give away” and of course selected the “Giveaway - Swap” ‘Category’ and lived at ‘Brooloo’ then a word search for any of theses words “ I; have; 3; brown; puppy; dog; dogs; to; give; away; giveaway; swap; and brooloo; will return the above Notice.
All of this mean that you will have a fair chance of finding the type of Notice content you are looking for by just a 'word' search.
Dropdowns
However if you are looking generally for the ALL notices of interest, that is best done in the 'Categoery' dropdown option
For Example:
If you have lost or found something then the category ‘Lost & Found’ will tell you if the site contains a 'Notice' that can be of assistance to your inquiry
BUT
If you have a general interest in your 'neighborhood' then the category ‘Locality’ will show you all the Notices relevant to that area.
Hope you find the site useful and you get as much enjoyment out of using it as I did in building it.
